never mind, it uses cat5, but i went and looked around at all my amps.....all the 6 pinn-ers use 3-pair phone line.......and by the way- you can even plug phone cord into cat5 connectors just fine, so an rf knob can plug in. i use a 2004 knob on an 2008 amp(uses double knob supposedly)
