phd components are sold thru local shops only ,if there is no lcal shop in your area ,then you need to get a hold of the local rep to see if he or she can help you .

well I have heard nothing but positive things about them and also because I like having something that is a high quality product and that not many people have in their car where I live.

actually ,i have the only set of phd components in cali right now ,and they are still new in the box ,never installed. only difference between the fb 6.1 and the pro's are the 3 layer cone on the pro's , a 150 rms versus 100 and the price .this come from mike direct.

Yes I am getting ready to purchase a pair of the pro's off of mike here in the next week or two. right now I am running the Hertz 6.5 high energies components and I believe that the PHD's will sound alot better.

Why do you dislike your hertz set?

there's just something about the way they sound that makes me very uncomfortable. to the point that i am very concerned about even turning them up. I have had some very nice systems in the past (Image Dynamics, Focal, Rainbows, and Boston Acoustics) and wasn't near as worried about turning up the volume with those comps. I have talked in depth with Mike in regards to the PHD's and feel very confident that they will be everything that I am looking for and more.
