Damit! It's already sold. From what I have researched it looks like I will need to run "Imprint" to have it do what I want. Thanks for the info. I was to slow. lol

The 9887 doesnt need Imprint to go active. You can use it to auto tune for you or you can do it on your own. The Imprint for the 9887 is basically an add-on where as the 9886 if you want active you have to have it.

I just read the manual for the 9887 and your right it does do what I want w/o imprint. The manual for the 117 shows only sub and highpass w/o imprint not 3way. I need a 3way active that I can bandpass my mids (LP/sub, LP-HP/mid, HP/ tweeter).

So it's looking like I need a 9887 w/o imprint or a 9886/117 with imprint.

What's the point of adding imprint to a 9887 if it already has the crossovers, TA, and stuff. Or do you have to have it for Sat.Radio/Bluetooth/Ect. ?
