Looking for something like a p980bt

a single din in the 200-300 price range, only thing i have for trade is my avic- f90bt

needs to have nice ipod control, since thats all i use to play music.

Kenwood KDC-x592 comes with everyting but monting backet or I have an Alpine CDA-9857, no remote, trim ring or Moutning bracket (currently using it now).

really ok you might want to get the alpine that only pays ipods then...didnt know my ipod interface was horrible..None will have better ipod control than the one you have as it was made specifically for that

Im sure you're referring to the ida-x100? i had that but i sold it, didnt like the sound, the pre-outs are weak, not much tweaking can be done,the glare is annoying and i didnt really like the look of it. Plus the radio quality was TERRIBLE.

I didnt say the interface is horrible, but its slower compared to the 9886 and that was slow to me already, i need something with a couple more lines that i could read out since i have over 50gigs of music.

yeah thats just odd i have had the 9887 and the 880 and the 880 was alot faster but i only have 8 gig ipod..

listen i'm not trying to argue in my thread..

point is i had read a review about it being slower than the 9886, sorry if that may have been incorrect, doesn't this only have like 3 lines of display? And if it matters i just dont like the look of the HU..

looking at pretty much anything withe atleast 3 lines of display and fast ipod control preferably 4 lines and up

i was almost sold on the x993 until i saw a video of the slow ipod search
