WTB: Mono Amp

Looking for a mono amp that does 500+@2 ohms. Something along the lines of a Zapco Ref 500.1, Zapco iForce 600.1, ID Q600.1, Minilith, or anything that can be bridged into a 2 ohm stereo load.

Goal is SQ. Budget is no more than $250.

Ive already talked to Pickup1 about his Ref500.1. We may have something worked out, just want to see what else is available.

it has the blank module so yes it will turn on and work so with a external crossover it should not be a problem

the SWX module will add a 24DB x-over slope tho and it is also adjustable...... the blank module is just that... totally blank it just lets the amp run

no deck has the same "Quality" circuitry as the ZR/SS module regardless of how good the deck is ...

it would be a wise purchase to at least try 1 if ya buy the amp..

Im sort of leaning towards a newer JBL GTO700.1. 700@2 with a 107S/N Ratio and .02% THD.

mmm that Opti would be nice too...

not near as good on the x-over side as a zr with an SWX but better than the ZR w/o the module...

Hmmm. How cleaned up did you get the plexi? And Im not doubting you, but any bench tests to prove the ZR240 will do 500+@2 bridged? Like I said I dont doubt it, just need to be positive it will put the power to my Evo and do it cleanly.

I have honestly never seen a ZR240 birthsheet that was less than 430 rms...

And we sold 1000's of them at our shop in Utah..
