Looking for set to be used in my jeep. Unfortunately I am am restricted to a 2.5" mounting depth. Not going to do any fancy creations, just stick them in my door with a PPI 900.4 and call it a day. Any other suggestions would be welcomed!

you can make a mounting out of 3/4" or 1" mdf to increase your mounting depth, it's nothing fancy and takes 10 mins. i did it and it works quite well.

CX6V is discontinued. The current model, CK6X, has a mounting depth of 2.67" inches. I can get you that set. Another set to consider is JBL P660C. The depth is 2.25" and it's gotten very good reviews. I have 2 sets of P660C in stock.
