jco i don't wanna mess with one that has disc reading problems, my current cd player doesn't read them at all, i just use it for my ipod, which is one of the reasons i'm upgrading!

make sure ya get one with good ipod control i have the 6600dvd in my second car and horrible ipod display with pioneers ipod unit. stick to newer models sucks searchin 20,000 songs with crappy control

clarion i have has an actual pic of the ipod on the screen can even change screen color very nice just a heads up

pionneer 5700, 7700, avic3, 4900, 5900, and 5000, 4000 i know have great ipod controls

Yah thats definatley a big concern, i have about 6000 songs and right now i still control it from the ipod because i could not stand doing it through a normal deck with that little screen....yours looks like a good unit, but i need to kno if this job offer is gonna come through so i know how much i can really spend!

no prob just make sure ya pick up a decent deck even if not from me for your needs not something that dont work for what u need it to do better off saving up your money and holding off on it for a month my 2 cents
