yeah i think im going to have to pass. i have a jvc im using right now and it just it doing it for me. the HU i had before this one was so clear and no it just doesnt sound all that good.

I owned an alpine idax200 and idax100, and the JVC in my opinion was a better unit.

Of course if you buy it, and don't like it, I can take it back.

yeah the last HU i had was a alpine 9883 and the music sounded clearer than the jvc i have now, also it the same way with my bros jvc

Yeah, I don't think I can go lower. I paid 300 for it and it was only used for like 6 months. It's a really nice deck with really fast ipod connection. Even has a thing where it will tell you your horsepower and g's!

Really liked it, only switched it with a 9887 so I could go active. The kenwood is not active capable but it does have sub level, Q, center frequency, low pass filter on sub, hpf/lpf on speaker channels. Just no bandpass for mids so I couldn't use it.
