looking for an "entry level" sort of home theatre reciever. im not really sure what to look for in one, so any help would be awesome.

just looking to upgrade from the 12 year old Onkyo that blew a channel haha.

looking to spend $100-200 MAX. not looking to spend any more, just something to get me started on a small system.

Do you need 5 channels, or are you just using it for stereo?
And do you need a receiver, or will just an integrated amp suffice...

just looking for simple stereo for now..

sorry im a total n00bxcube when it comes to HT. what do you mean by just a reciever , or just an integrated amp?

also i'd like at least 2 AUX inputs, i plan on hooking up my computer as well to play music through

A "receiver" is the general name for something with an AM/FM broadcast tuner and an amplifier.

An integrated amp is just a preamp/power amp in one box.

I have a NAD 3020 integrated that I'd sell for $200, has the inputs you need, and is a bit of a cult favorite in hi-fi circles...

I can get pictures of it tonight.

I have a high end Sony DA50ES ht received. Was $1200 new back in the day. Very nice unit before sony turned to garbage. Back when the ES line was top notch.
Here is a photo/info on it that I found on google. Have seen them on a search going in the $350 range. Will sell it for $300 shipped....

Nice! my brother has that on at his house, he actually suggested it to me, im looking for somethign along those lines, however, i can't afford that much this week, but if you're still willing to sell, i might pick it up next week when i get paid

Is a killer unit. And no hurry, it has been sitting on the shelf for about a year. When I changed out to a different unit it was just used to power bookshelf speakers in my office. I turned it on about 5 minutes ago and have it playing as I have not used it in forever. Still perfect!

SOrry for the small price increase of $350, just realised how much it would cost to ship! It is a heavy mofo!
