Can you give me a quote for a 250+ amp alt? Also what do you set your charging voltage at?

I have a used but almost new singer 250a 6 phase hairpin alt. Im pretty sure if it doesn't just bolt on mike can re case it for a good price. I could do 400 shipped. If it needs recasing i will subtract that from the sale total. Or u can get one from Jim aka mylows for around 500.

It came off a explorer so it's a ford case alt. Forgot to mention that. Mylows could u ask mike if this alt will swap over.

It may swap over. But I'm seeing what alr is available. Being a v10 there a very good chance the case is a bigger case. I'll have an answer later today for you both

Well mine is the large case. We got together and decided that the small case alt wouldn't hold up to my app. I don't use the back bolt hole on my alt.

My alt was already built as a test alt when i ordered a alt. We had to custom build all of it for my explorer because of the space issues. Took 3 weeks to get the rectifier right. It was his first 6 phase hairpin large case at the time. Only one bigger is his ambulance case alt which was like 380a.

can do a 320A hairpin style that peaks at 340A and idles at 180A

This is $579 or a 275 for $30 less
