WTB head unit with bluetooth and active

looking for the pioneer DEH-P980BT or another HU that has bluetooth built in and will run active with the auto tuner. i think alpine makes one, not sure of the model or if anyone else makes one.

i have 2 IDQ12V3 subs, a couple pioneer HU's, 0awg wire (welding, Knu, kicker) and other stuff if anyone wants to trade or trade +cash.

It is............but it isnt. It is not a true active HU in the fact that there is only F, R, & SUB outs not High, Mid, Sub. Let it sink in then you will understand.

I have a 980 BT. It has no specific active mode. It's got separate high passes for the front and rear with adjustable slopes and a low pass for the sub. I would suppose since there's separate front and rear adjustability if you really wanted to incorporate the head unit into an active setup you could do a sort of

'makeshift' type thing if you used a compination of amp and head unit crossovers for the mids and the amp to lowpass the tweeters. You'd need the right amp though, something with a high pass adjustable to 2-4000 HZ. I have no clue if there even is such a thing.

You want the Pioneer 800 or 880. Or maybe an Alpine 9887. I was very happy with my Alpine's bluetooth capability once I got the right phone that made all the features available. Alot of times when people have problems with bluetooth features they think it has to do with the unit being crappy, it actually depends on the phone. They just won't tell you when you buy a head unit in store that depending on which phone you have you may get all, none, or only some features to work. Once I got my Samsung phone my bluetooth worked perfectly with every Alpine I used but my Pioneer's mike setup is better and calls are clearer.

ok guys i dont need advice here. i know the head unit i want. i know the features i want if another unit does the same thing. i understand how the "active" thing works on the HU. im after that little mic it comes with and adjusts everything for you. i have a pioneer 700, i know all about the bluetooth.

i just want to buy the 980. now does anyone have one??

i ask for a HU with bluetooth and has the mic to tune the eq for you. i ask for an upgrade from my hu. you offer me one that does nothing i want and is a downgrade... no thank you.
