A redtop does not even come close to the deka. The deka is not as pretty as the red but who buys a battery because of it looks.

No offense to the poster that had a red-top, it's just generally accepted in the audio world that Optima's are over-priced non delivering pieces.

so dekas KILL redtops.... ive gotn good use outa it for the past 6-7 yrs, time for a new xtra bat anyway!

Optima doesn't make a battery that can hang.with the deka 9A31 and it is a little better than a kinetik 2000.
