They don't have to be great. Using them for the rear and they would get about 50-60W. I suppose that midbass is more important than highs for me.

I'm thinking about selling my RF Power series comps (they don't fit in my doors). They are 6.5" and would come with MB quart crossovers instead of the RF ones (RF ones were stolen). becuase in most cases rear fill really isnt that importent

And midbass's are fine for rear, tweeters will pull away from your front stage big time.

unless you have the [immense] processing power to do rear fill correctly, id advise against it.

it pulls your soundstage back which is bad if you're going for any kind of sound quality

I have K2P in the front and the rear is dead. I have some cheaper coax in the back, but they aren't even heard since I cannot power them without them distorting. I have 450/4 and was just looking for something versatile for the rear that I could mostly go mid bass and a little bit of high... I want quality as much as anything which is why components come to mind.

...so I was thinking 450/4 with 125-150W K2P in the front and some cheaper components at 50-60W in the rear.

This should be OK as far as I can tell.

I suppose that coax that could handle 50-60W and sound good would be fine too.

It would be better to go with some midbass in the rear....don't use tweeters....
