I used edead, on a customer's install by his preference,

IMO it was a waste of time, and barely helped at all, (Did 3 layers)

On sounddeadenershowdown they say just to deaden the middle of the panels to eliminate vibration. Couldnt I just use good stuff and do the middles?

From what i hear, sds (soundeadener showdown) is a ripoff.

pay $10 for a tile for the center of your door to stop the panel from FLEXING in the CENTER.

it will still rattle against other panels from the vibrations, just slightly less.

go second skin or go home, and cut yourself while you cry to sleep

I must disagree on Fatmat and edead v3 at least.. I used them in my beater car in the trunk, doors, floor and all and it worked VERY VERY WELL. I live in florida and the car stays out side, and the fatmat has NEVER came off not even on the trunk lid, sides of trunk, doors..

It's worked very very well and my trunk does not rattle at all. I used the edead v3 in places I did not want to use the fatmat and never went back over the fatmat with the edead and it still sounds great..

Just my two cents on it. If I listed to everyone here I would of spent 2x as much and got about the same affect..

Remember this is a better car a 96 thunderbird with a sundown 3000D and a nightshade 15", 2 large batterys it's at least a 145.00 I will have it metered soon but I know it's louder then my 2005 chevy 2500HD with the same setup and better deadner but then again it's a totally different car.

If fatmat does not fall off in FL+OUT SIDE 24/7+less rattles+cheaper= GOOD SHIT.. Not the best but good for the price.

I have an SUV, I am thinking of doing the doors and two layers all in the back? I have never even looked into deadener, do I need to do the roof? My last Mounty when it was all said and done would rattled with an xplode 8 in a sealed box hooked up to the rear speakers

Cost isnt really an issue, I dont wanna spend a ton but I deff do not mind paying for quality, I just dont have a clue where to start and all of my shit is about to be here but I am not putting it in until its deadened..
