I have an x 18 d2 I think it's the first gen.. not sure. Need a ported enclosure, will have to work out designs over message because this is going in a trunk.. if anyone's located in werstern washington that'd be baller. Pm me if you can help.

A few ways to tell is if the surround is the mega one, or shorter one. The version 2 has a sharper radius surround, not as tall as the 1st version. Another way is that the spiders are diff color. 1st version are black, 2nd version are mustard color.

A search on google images would also help. Figured you could do that on your own.
Could ya give me some pointers on air space port per cube and tuning? I'm assuming lows won't be a problem so I'd like to tune it to be musical
@CSCStang would be the better choice rather than me as I don't design.

Those x series subs are made to play very low bass. I'm not sure they're musical if you want it to be. Your better choice in subs may be the version 2's. Or some other brand.

I play on running this until I have the money for a ZCON or an evil 18.. maybe a havoc. Undecided. This is just a step up from what I had so I'm happy enough at that. And I'm all for the lows over highs, I'm just looking for clean sounding bass. Ya know what I mean? I don't know how to describe it. I hear it in some nice door setups. It's not the notes it's just the way the speakers hit the notes that I long for lol
