not to mention i did a dyno run using a k&n CAI and a throttle body. how much hp did we gain?

that's tru cause i used to have a 98 gt mustang and it hurt my hp for some reason and when i took it back off i gained it back...u may wanna do some research....

correct me if im wrong but a COLD AIR INTAKE is in front of the wheel behind the bumper out of the engine bay which does bring in colder air but sucks for when it rains....in the bay, is a RAM AIR intake..and for civics it does help a lil, and if not well you get that massive throaty sound under heavy acceleration which are nice when u hit the VTEC at like 5-9grand.

which has like 3 or more 60 degree turns which hurts the speed at which your air reaches your throttle body and spends longer in the engine bay...keeping it warm.

tell you what, buy your intake. do a dyno run stock and then do a dyno run with it on and let us know how much hp you gained...

ive physically been there...and we gained 1 hp with a CAI AND a throttle body...

alright so scrap the CAI...get a FMIC and a TURBO then you'll get that HP gain and good pull lol

You can make your own. Get a few couplers, and about 3ft. (Won't need that much) of pipe, and the filter. Should be less to make your own, than to buy a complete kit. I'm making one, 'cause my housing got smashed when the dumbasses that had it before more dropped the engine on it.

dont forget to buy a nos spray for your intercooler

dont remember the name but it basically mounts around your intercooler and when your gunning it, it sprays nitrous oxide on your intercooler (making it ****ing colder than shit)

i have personally seen a 70+hp gain on a stock srt4 by using just the nos spray to spray the intercooler down on a dyno pull.
