WTB- Cheap, but powerful woofer amps. Legacy?

Hey guys, I am looking for something that can put out a lot of power, at least 1250+rms.

I am mainly looking for the Legacy 4000 or 4400 models.

Don't give me crap on Legacy being cheap crap with a dirty signal, I know, this is for a project in my EE class.

What is your price range? You can find an amp that puts out an actual 1000+ for what you are paying for that.

Anything to be honest, as long as it is worth it

I'd like to stay at no more than $~120ish

But that's subject to change depending on what is at question.

Your alpha amp is realyl sexy, but out of my range at the moment.

Down the road I'm thinking of using an alpha amp for my next SPL build.

Also, look at the fuses, that can tell you how much power it can pull if it has fuses.
