no smell or anythign, my uncle had it in his SHO on some coaxials and he said some of the speakers just stopped working. I haven't messed with it at all so I have no idea whats up with it...

have not actualy taken the back off, I really just haven't touched it at all LOL... factory warranty seal stickers things on the back are still intact //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
