Yeah. He looks at your amp and then goes "How much current does it draw?"

Then he decides it too much.

At 4kW with 100% efficiency while on a 12.8V system, it will be 312.5A.

Now, let's look at it properly. 4kW with 80% efficiency on a 12.8V system will be 375A. I would fuse it at 400A or so. It is what I have to fuse my AB VFL 400.1 at.

PS: I have a blown 400.1 I am considering selling if you're interested.
