Not sure what wire to go with. Want something in white hooking up to a 96 hc225mxi, eclipse avn5500, and as of right now 2 12"jl w3v2's. In a silverado regular cab how much wire do you think I need? What gauge? I want high quality stuff. I also need to purchase a new battery and not familiar with car audio equipment at all.

Some "pearl" colored wire here that looks close enoguh to white. Price and service are good from him too. 1/0 gauge wire it probably overkill, but going big doesn't hurt. Go no smaller that #4 wire. Dunno that car, but I'd say at a guess 4ft for alt to bat, 2ft for bat to chasis, and 2-3ft from engine block to ground. IF you have some string lay it where you plan to run power to your amp and measure that for that run. Give yourself a few feet more (always easier to cut than to add more), plus a foot and a half to ground your amp. Make sure you buy enough ring terminals (can be had in 10 packs on eBay for cheap I think) and allow a couple extra in case you screw up one or two.

There's plenty of good batteries out there. I'm currently using the Sears Die Hard Platinum. Uses AGM technology, is comparably priced, and I know Sears is good on warranty and I can find one anywhere I go to get service. The Optima is also a popular choice, they look pretty and can be had at most part stores.
