This is how I received my AQ HDC3 after having it returned on an Ebay deal. A buyer with 2 feedback was unhappy because it "didn't meet his standards"..filed a case with ebay "missing parts.etc."

I let him have it for 180...not a bad deal IMO. Ebay had him send it back if he wanted a refund..he basically just put it in a box with no packaging because he was probably pissed he had to pay for shipping .

I'd like to get another basket/ recone kit (not necessarily AQ) and try to build a sub since the motor is still good and the sub is just collecting dust in my shed now. I know building a sub isn't just a plug n play but figured i'd try making a frankensub in my free time.

This sub is actually real easy to fix. Just give DJ a call and tell him what you got. It'll be cheaper that way compared to trying to get V.C. height right on a frank sub, and AQ prices are crazy cheap for what you get. I recone lots of subs and these AQ's blow me away how cheap the recones are.

yea i called aq today and they told me a dual 1ohm drop in recone for my hdc3 18 is only $105+shipping,is that an 18?
