no it does 500 rms x 2 bridged at 4ohm and why would a 4 channel have a SS filter?

I would only get the 9887 if you plan on utilizing it to its fullest, I would look into the 9886 if you are just starting out, I own one and its an amazing deck.

In the LP position, the Highpass filter acts as a subsonic filter
