Looking to see if anyone has a good condition 100% working one they'd let go for cheap. I'd like to setup a vintage system for my dad's truck to restore what he used to have. Already trying to get his 10" savards repaired, and working on an amp for them. Just needing this HU and i'll be about complete //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

hit me up With what you got.

****, someone else that knows of Savard? I had a bandpass box that was made by Savard, I had a 12" Volcano Loudspeaker in it, and it was amazing. Now it's in my driveway smashed. Anyway, bump for a guy with some good subs.

savard rap series all the way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.. looking to find myself a set of 12s to get a good sq setup going.. lol.

I had friends that rocked Savards back in the day.

Better than decent drivers for the pawn shop pricing they came with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Should you be able to locate a 7930 to suit you I wanted to offer a tip in case you didn't know -

To turn the subwoofer RCA preamp outputs on you'll need to hold the CD eject button (top righthand corner of the unit) down for like 3 seconds or so.

There will be a visual confirmation once those preouts have been enabled.

I only recently found this out myself so I wanted to pass that along in case you (a) didn't know and (b) ended up with one that didn't have a manual (and there isn't one available on Alpine's site //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif)

One just popped up on eBay

I had one back in '95-'96 great deck, sold it to buy a 7940 which was a mistake because the build quality and display of the 7940 was horrid. Ended up going with a Kenwood KDC-PS909 to replace the 7940.
No cage pictured in that listing, though.

If it isn't intended for an ISO-DIN install I would ask about the mounting sleeve prior to bidding //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Just so that you know the original Alpine OEM mounting sleeve is available brand new from pacparts.com for $7.90. They have great service and fast shipping I have ordered from them numerous times. Great source for Alpine parts.
