WTB: Alpine 7892 / 3300'S Era Alpine EQ

Hi All,

I've been lurking here for some time now. I don't have much knowledge to share so I never joined, but I certainly have learned a lot ..

I am going through a learning curve after being away from car audio for quite a few years. I've always been a fan of Alpines and started out my project with a new 9886.

I was very disappointed in that so I sold it and went old school with a 7840.

Not a fancy unit but it sure works great and the SQ is dramatically better.

Now the wife wants it, so I'm looking for a different HU..

I have 128, 100% feedback on e-bay as well as on Bladeforums.com.

I am looking for an excellent condition Alpine cda-7892. Would prefer it has mounting cage and remote..

I am also looking for an earlier Alpine 3311 Equalizer or similar version from the same era. 7 or 11 band, either is fine.

Would prefer it has the mounting brackets, but not necessary..

i have a mint Alpine 7892 Headunit & 6 Disc Changer CHA 5614 with remote and cage and manual.

very nice headunit and getting harder to find //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. 4v outs are great.

I will accept and offer on it but unless it's a **** good one, it'll probably stay here lol.

****, it's a shame you are so specific on the model of Alpine SQ unit lol. I have a mint condition 7949 with cage, pigtial, and faceplate case I am selling. Good luck finding your 7892 though. Agreed. They are amazing. I don't really WANT to part with mine, but I have other plans. Someone on e-bay offered me $150 shipped for my mint 7949 and I just didn't have the heart to do it. I love them too much to let it go that cheap lol.

Anyway, good luck to the buyer AND seller here, I'm sure oldguy is going to be in a much happier position receiving a nice 79xx than you are going to be getting rid of one!

actually, he's going to be holding off. He just let me know via pm and I can't blame him. it'll be here when he wants it though, he's a really good guy to talk to, cool overall.
