CRX, I just found a digital design installer/seller here in my area and went to his shop to see the big deal with the dd's and he happened to be a jl dealer too, and had 8w7's in his employees vehicle which I got to listen to and they were unbelievablly loud....I told him what you claimed "dd's being better over the jl's" and he gave me this odd look and said no way, he said dd's are good subs, but do NOT compare to the jl's---AND!!! he said BRAND NEW DD 1008's are $105 each NOT $150---

If you can get them for that fine...Thats a good price. He's an idiot if he says a JL is better than a DD. How many First place does he have? I have about 50 with my rex in the past 3 years...in fact never below first at any show all with DD. How many state records does he have. I've held over 20 in past 3 years all with DD. How many World records does he have? I have 3 all with DD. How many world records does JL have? I'm thinking none in SPL. The price I quoted was shipped figuring in roughly $25 a sub. So my price on them was $125 each. Again if he told you that all I have to say he is a idiot...Ask Mike Jones...who yeah you heard Mike Jones with his 5 DD subs at over 178dbs....
