i was looking for a sa-8 but at this point im on ebay looking for a 8inch sub to play around with. im not looking to spend alot so no more then 40.00 as u can tell it dont have to me anything crazy. i do want it to b in workin order and b able to handle more then 150 watts.

i still want you to draw up somthing i just need the sub i get paid in a few days bro. i cant find a sa-8 for what i wana spend. to b honest i placed a bid on ebay for some lowlevel 8inch subs if i win it will b cool to make a nice little box.

Well a t-line would be big, but not too big since it's only an 8. It'd be difficult to build tho.

yea a simple slot port or some pvc pipe or some sh it is what i think i could do. i wana just try to put something together that will not take alot to do. i would not have to rent a truck to get the wood home i know i can get some smaller sheets of mdf and just get some basic tools and go from there. i think a nice 8 inch sub and a little box will get my hands dirty and i would get the feel for building a box. to b honest for me to start out with a big *** box it would bring on more stress then i need right now.

Building a big box is no harder than building a small box. You will be wasting money if you get a crappy 8 inch. Most have very little output.

thanks bro your right, im not gona get some pos sub im sure i would up my price but i wana see if anyone has somthing in there room or basemet etc they wana get rid of for some gas money or some food for them and there girl. i just have no way to get home alot of mdf and i dont know anyone that has a truck for some wood. most people that i know that have trucks have a system and they cant get no big sheets of mdf. if i go to homedepot they allways give me a hard time about cuting wood for me. i went about 4 weeks ago and i gave the guy some basic cuts and he was like ummmm i go to brake in like 10 min and i wont b back for a hour so i asked for his boss then i was told to come back tomrrow. i went back and i got some bs story about the cuting machine is down etc etc. so yea

Talk to audiophil he got me a nice tangband 8 for 60 and he has a true bass standard for cheap also.

Look at the Dayton HF8.

Azngotskills has a pair of NEXT AL 20's. 8" subs with aluminum cones. Very nice subs.

Theres a guy on CACO with an Energy 8" woofer for like $25 shipped and it looks mint.
