i've seen some eclipse cd7000's in the classifieds. I have one and it is a very nice active unit. you wont be disappointed.

hmmm..... the 7000's are kinda pushin my budget. I've got a TON of work to do to my s10 besides the audio setup. I'm back halfing, shaving, skinning, framing on 22s, 350 swap, blah, blah, blah..... before summer hits next year hopefully.

Anyone else know any active HU's that would fit in the "cheapass" budget without getting crap?

There's an 880prs (best active HU in its price range by far imo) I think on icix for $225
