WTB 8" Ported Box

I was looking for a cheap used one for now since Im gunna sell the Skar that I am running and need some bass lol... Do you do any plexi glass work?
I would love to, but I do not have the materials to cut plexi, nor do I have any local shop or distributor that has sheet thicker than 0.222inches thick. For the price it would cost me, you can have it cut anywhere that does it professionally, and I can build the design for it to fit int. So, I can build the design, and tell you the dimensions and thickness needed for a sheet to be cut that will fit, but I do not have the resources yet to do that myself. Which is no problem, with the exception of added shipping costs for having the plexi shipped to you as well, but if I inccur the shipping, it will still add tovthe weight of my shipping costs, just not as much. So basically, I can incorperate the design for it, but cannot do the actual cutting for it. You will have to actually get the sheet from somewhere else. But eventually, I will have that as a service down the road.

I saw some of your designs with cutouts for it so I thought Id ask... I may do something with it eventualy... I was thinking it would be really cool to have the box you posted but have the flared piece of the port be plexi glass with Bn'R etched in to it and back lit... If that makes sense?

O BTW what program do you use? I did a couple years of CAD in college...

Actually, those cutouts are for access panels made by the same mdf. But they can be utilized as plexi if someone want to replace the panel with that. As far as one of the programs, The ver popular Sketch up. Simple......free.......for me. lol. it can get very complex if you want it to as well. The last CAD program I worked with was CADD6! Yes, old school. But effective. I figured out how to stop animate with it, lol. using UU and OO commands //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. But anyhow, as far as other programs, I made my own excel sheets that I use from my calculations to figure for some of the work, and the rest is done by windows calculator. I do most of my work by hand. I only use hornresp for checking my info to make sure its correct, in other words, if I figure for a specific response, I put my info in there and check its accuracy. Hornresp does a great job on that part, but I do not use their wizard, as hornresp was designed for mainly front and rear chambered horns, and they go by specific waveguide formulas in hornresp that may steer you to create a design much larger than needed for the same efficiency I can get from one of mine. But overall, accurate to a point of verification. In order to excel the process of some designs, the use of programs is a necessity now days. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. I still use hand calculations for most of my port areas, and lengths and such, that are far from the basic port calulators from most programs and websites.

Are your designs built already or do you have to build them upon request?
Hello. These 2 enclosures are two I designed and built last summer/fall. I do have plenty in my shop I've previously designed and built and also design and built upon request or as needed!

Thanks and OP email sent!

I don't have any posted for sale that I don't have built already......where'd you get that from?!?!? LOL. I've been on here for 7 years...I'm well aware of all the rules and regulations. Been doing this a while now and never sell "illegally"! I got this covered bro, thanks! :) And I'm in contact with the OP ;-)

He is referring to the new rules with added vendor section... While I have no issues with your random posts offering services, your sig is technically against the rules though... A few things have changed recently, but I do promise it is for the better.

Yes, correct. Just trying to stay in the rules, man. No hating at all. Just looking out for you. The supporting vendor section is still being put together, and I just thought to help you out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Just letting you know.
