Hey guys Im looking for a good single 8 box... Needs to be about .75 at 34 ish?Designers and Builders I may want something built for the right price... I am getting a second one at some point so I may look at double boxes as well... So post pics and specs of what you have!

What's the deal with the port on your boxes? I haven't seen anything like it except just now on your page...

It allows the enclosure to couple to the environment more efficiently while also lowering port noise to near zero with soundwave expansion. JL Audio incorperated this into their designs as well, but not theirs was not calculated properly, along with them using carpet inside the port, which absorbed the sound before it exited the enclosure. Their idea was to decrease output, and increase SQ to obtain a smoother response. My idea is for adding coupling and increasing output while STILL maintaining SQ.

Interesting! Is that price carpeted? What sort of terminals? Single baffle?

It's always carpeting that gets me but I hate boxes without lol... They are pretty heavy little buggers so I may wanna double baffle it... Do you paint the boxes you don't carpet?

I normally do not, but I can if you like. The paint again will be added onto the price. I will have to see the price I can get it at my distributor first, then let you know, but it should be no more than a few dollars per can, and gloss added if you like. But I will not charge you more than what I can get it for. The work I do is what I am allowed to charge you for, as I do not have a certified resale certificate for my state yet, or for any other businesses, so I cannot up the price of what I pay for them...that would be illegal.......which is good for you! The labor is what I charge for personally, and the design work. Everything else is added as the price comes to me. So, this way you are not being way overcharged for anything, like some people like to do. Where are you located? Have you shipped to CO?

I am located in Connecticut. I have shipped to many states, so it is possible I have shipped to there as well. If you give me your zip code, I can check for a possible shipping price, and complete total as well, depending on what you want done for a finish and such.

Lol,no problem. When you get that figured, we can add everything in as the time comes. Let's first concentrate on your interest of shipping costs, as well as construction specifics, and we can figure the asthetics later. That will give you some time to research your decision. So, I will at the least right now, work on getting you an estimated shipping cost, which will be more accurate when the construction is complete, as some minor modifications, such as double baffle, etc, will be added. So lets see what the other member here also has to offer as well before any final decision is made, if you like. Or if you are definately interested in my design, I can begin a build process with you for the details needed. We have covered most of it already, but whatever you would like to do. You have been very help full sir! If I can find a cheap box from a member just to toss the one I have in for now Ill do that and build something nice when I get the second done... They are custom Hx2 motor based 8's that will be getting 1500 apiece BTW... I was thinking I may do one box now then get a matching one when the other one is done being built however...

I was looking for a cheap used one for now since Im gunna sell the Skar that I am running and need some bass lol... Do you do any plexi glass work?
