WTB - .5 ohm stable Amp

There are 2 subs which are 2ohm dvc so wiring options would be 2ohm or .5 ohm
I ment have you checked them with a dmm, also you have imp rise when your powering them, my cmass ul12 says it's 1.5 per coil but it actually sits at 1.74, you add the extra .25 per coil x 4 coils that 1 ohm. a big difference when your talking about running an amp .5 ohms and it is actually seeing 1.5 ohms

to blow his subs.
He doesn't have to use all the potential of the amp, simply turning the gain down will assure he won't over dirve it, it is better to have have a larger amp and not use the potential (less distiortion, no clipping) then to max out an amp, maxing out the amp will definately kill the subs.

Ahhhh, this makes much sense... I'll have to pull out the box tomorrow and measure the coils... Thanks for the advice...
