Looking to run a single pair of comps at 100-150w per side @ 4ohm and a sub at 300-500w @ 2-4ohm.

It can be either a 4ch with the fronts powering the comps and the back bridged on the sub, or a 5ch where I can bridge the 2 front sets of channels down to run a single pair of comps. As long as I get the power I need, it doesnt matter. If anyone has a Crescendo 1000C4 in good shape, Id take one of those. I have a few and they are great. This amp is for a friends system, and the price range is around $200. Possibly a little more if the amp is worth it. Dont want any junk or crappy amps. Just looking for something that will put out a clean signal, stay cool, and be reliable.

I have a soundstream vga 500.4 in mint condition, if interested PM me does 125 x 4 @ 4 ohm and 500 x 2 @ 4 ohm bridged. Its in mint condition w/manual and box. Also have the vga800.2 matching mono in mint condition w/ box and manual.

if you have a 200 dollar budget , why doesnt he just scrape up 60 more bucks and buy a crescendo new?? or is navid out of stock?
I can get it cheaper than that new. Thats why Im trying to find something better than the Crescendo, but cheaper. The reason it would be cheaper is because its used.

Just shows its hard to beat the value of the Crescendo amps.

I've got a NIB Soundstream RUB5.800 laying around I'm not going to use. Below are the specs:

Soundstream Rubicon Series 5-Channel Class A/B Car Amplifier

RMS Power Rating:

4 ohms: 70 watts x 4 chan. + 200 watts x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 115 watts x 4 chan. + 340 watts x 1 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohms: 230 watts x 2 chan.

MOSFET power supply

Platinum 4 AWG power block

LED protection indicator will be illuminated when the amp has gone into a self preservation mode

Tri-mode capable

IDI intelligent distress indicator for thermal, short, & impedance protection

Infinitely variable crossovers w/ multipliers (High/Band/Low)

5 channel operation

Turn on/off delay

Heavy duty aluminum alloy heatsink for extreme heat dissipation

Gold-plated RCA level inputs

Gold-plated screw terminals

Selectable high-pass filter (15-225 Hz or 255-3800 Hz)

Selectable low-pass filter (50-800 Hz or 250-4000 Hz)

Subsonic Filter (35 Hz)

Bass Boost: 0-12 dB @ 50 Hz

Damping factor: >250

Signal-to-noise ratio: 105 dB

THD (Total harmonic distortion): 0.015%

Frequency response: 10-35,000 Hz

Dimensions: 19-11/16"L x 8"W x 2"H

It's good clean power....look at the THD rating! I just bought it to kind of have it as a backup to my Genesis Profile 5. I wasn't looking to sell it but I guess I could.

Not really... it's just another amp similar to the MAXXSONICS junk...

Good luck with your search ... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Do you have any experience with the amps? Ever used one for any real period of time? Its not at all like a Maxxsonics amp. I went from a DSC4125 to the 1000C4. The Crescendo stays cool to the touch at 2ohm per channel where even at 4 or 8ohm the MB Quart would cook, and is wayyyyyyyy louder than the MB Quart. How is it the same?
