I made a thread a few days ago wanting a 600w mono, but due to how my box is made and my minimal wiring skills I'm going to need something at puts out 300w x2 rms at 4ohm, in order to simplify the install. If you have something like that please let me know.

the phoenix gold x600.1 puts out better then 600 watts mono, and since it has dual speaker terminals wired in parallel you just hook both subs up to it like any two channel amp, but you get the class D mono tech. sub amp that you are actually looking for..

the class a/b amp is gonna take much more eliectrical system to run too.. 300X2 at 4 ohm class a/b is HUGE!

I have an Orion XTR 800.4 that's putting out 500x2@4 @13.8v if your electricals **** you'll get less.

let me know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm confused as to how this will work, can anyone explain a bit better how a mono amp uses 2 terminals to wire up subs as if it were two seperate channels?

edit: let me clarify my question. so there are two sets of speaker terminals on the amp, and I have two subs both single 4ohm VC, wired independently of each other. If I take speaker wire from the + - of the 1st set of terminals on the amp to the first subwoofer, and the + - of the second set of terminals on the amp to the second subwoofer, this effectively represents a 2ohm load into a single channel to the amp, as if I were running two S4 subs in parallel? So basically I can run my two subs in parallel and not have any wires running between the two subs?

Thats correct.
