You're likely going to be spending that much just on an amp.

As for subs...

What size? What impedance? For street beatin' or competitive?

I have subs brand new that are 1250 rms each. 700 new just for the subs. I can negotiate as well. As for amp he's right you'll need double your budget to start out with a good settup. My subs are made by Fi. Maybe you can find something else that is cheaper. Lemme' know

I'm kindof talkin like maybe two type R's runnin 2ohms(I think) which would be about 200? and then 400 left for the amp to run 1000wrms. I suppose that's not exactly what I said, but I'm lookin for a setup b/w 1k and 2k wrms. I just want a nice system to street beat wit that aint gonna break the bank. I could go up to a grand on the whole system, but I was hoping someone would have some used stuff they'd let go for semi-cheap. Wiring, etc is gonna be like 100?
