i got 2-ma audio M286i amp... it rated 300x2 @ 4 ohms and 1200x1 at 1 ohm....

i'll give you both for $450 shipped... they're brand new and still under warranty.

2000 watts would blow those subs apart...look for a 1000 watt RMS amp, it'll do them more good. They take 250 each, but I had a lil over 300 goin into mine when I had em, took em like a champ

Well its tru you dont need that much power to run those subs. I would say you would be ok with a jbl bp1200.1 its only 275$ at ikesound.com

i have a kicker xs100 1200 watts rms at 1ohm this amp is new and is sweet i have seen pricing on this amp 800.00 to 1500.00 its a sweet amp sure to push ur subs ill let it go for 400.00 plus shipping like 10.00 at the most

lol yea that amp would pretty much do it for you...watch the gains, cause kicker has some bada$$ amps....you guys remember the ZR1000?? Need I say more....let alone the whole ZR series.

chapy, I say you pick up a JBL 1200.1, can be found for around $250. Puts out 1250-1300 watts @ 2 ohms.

Thats what I said his best bet was to do...its the cheapest quality amp I think he would find and has no problem running at a 2ohm load and may run hot at a 1ohm load...
