WTB 2" x 8" Spiders

No kidding!

I had a couple built with SA8v.2 soft parts and coils from Chris along with my RL-p 8 motors. Too bad they ended up with some coil tick.

I'm going to have my other set of TC2 steels machined specifically for the LMT coils. I'm looking for these spiders still!

Well I have plenty of 2"x6" spiders for 8" builds, but I'm really after 2"x8" spiders for a couple 10" or 12" builds.
I hear you when it comes to the coil rock, a spacer and two ultra-soft spiders is the ticket to stabilize any cantilever action on the coil travel. The TC2+ motor is already perfect for the 2" LMS coil. If you make the gap any wider you'll suffer an even worse Qes/Qts and sensitivity. (if that's what you meant, lol)

2"x6" are super easy to find. I haven't seen any 2"x8" in forever. It's kind of funny, but the eD e5.10 I tore apart last week had a 2"x8" spider.

You are exactly right on the TC2+. These are not fully machined steels and they are slightly different. Once I get a few bucks to spare they'll go out to Anthony to make them perfect. I'm working on a couple different designs for them.

Sounds awesome, good luck with it!
