need it to do at least 500 rms for both channels. i currently have a sony that does 250 rms to each channel and im very happy with it but i have a friend interested in it and i was wondering if anyone had an amp they were selling and maybe id upgrade. i wouldnt mind a hifonics or something of that nature but lmk what you have. send me a pm with pics and refs.

im also looking for 2 10" subs so if you have an amp and the 2 subs maybe we can make a deal.

Since when is a Directed 1500d a 2-channel???

My directed 1500d is a 2-channel amp. Its also the third one that i've own. I thought is was kinda strange at first since all specs give wattage X 1. Since your comment, Ive called DEI (who makes directed) and a rep said that they were all 1 channel...WRONG!. I have my amp, pictures, and the manual to prove it. I'm not sure how to post pics, but will email to skeptics. The manual states that they are internally bridged in parallel.

so if it is a 2 channel amp internally bridged, and no way to run it in stereo wouldnt that make it a mono amp?

dude, you're the one who is wrong. alot of amps are like this. hell the orion 2500d is this way.

IT IS A MONO AMP!! it is built with 2 "channels" to simplify wiring multiple subs. if it was 2 channels, how the hell is it stable to 1 ohm and why isn't it "bridgeable"??

let us not forget that the original question/conflict. I just simply said that the amp had "2 channels". we can all see that its one ohm stable, class D, etc in every online ad. I'm sooo aware of this. I was only saying that the amp had 2 channels .It will more than serve the purpose of replacing his sony amp. be easy...let's not clutter this guy's wtb thread with unnnecesary posts.
