impossible 4hp meaning its a 4 inch coil 3 hp 3 inch coil tard

4hp = 4"

3hp = 3"

So all 3" coils use a 3hp motor? I thought #hp was a measure of power for the motor..

Who said 3hp's dont work out too well with 18's? Your looking to run 1700-2k to each woofer correct? I'm not positive on this as I have no experience with 4hp's but the 3hp might do you more justice being a lighter coil therefore more efficient on givin power. just a thought.

tc3k101 told me he heard from several people that 18s don't perform too well on the 3hp motors, but I like your theory, if anyone can back it up then I will look for some 3hp motors as well...
