$400 total, handle 1.5kw as a pair.

I recommend 4 Mach 5 Audio Maw 10s sealed. They handle 250 rms a piece and would wire to 2 ohms, so that would be great for your MD2D. Plus they are $77 shipped a piece.

Or I recommend a pair of SSA Icons, 12s or 10s ported. They would be around $500 shipped though, so maybe a but much new. Probably can get a deal if you find some used ones. Indeed, there is a pair of 12s for $350 + shipping in the classifieds.

I realize you said 12s or 10s but I have a DD9515F that hasn't seen power on it's coils with an 8'' CF dust cap and dual 1.5ohm VCs. I'm selling it for 400 plus actual shipping so it's a thought for you.
