I'm about to receive a Rainbow Profi 12" subwoofer and the sealed box requirements is for 1.25cF and my box is only 1cF. Partsexpress.com is verily cheap to get 1lb ($8), but the shipping is an additional $8 -- which is outrageous!! If someone has any leftover and would like to sell it to me for around $10 or so, I will be willing to take it off your hands.

Ok.. didn't realize Walmart had polyfill. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Does it come in 1lb bags??

Yeh its in the fabric dept.....theres diff kinds of like fine or thick or somethin but they all do that same...if you box is ported you could staple it, but sealed just chunk it in there 1lb for 1cu

Here is the poly fill I picked up from Wal-Mart tonight. It's not the fluffy kind like shown on PartsExpress.com, but in a sheet that measures 45" x 60". Would this be OK for my 1cF sealed box so I can gain the additional .25cF that I need for my new sub?

Try it out, and youll know soon enough.

I dont think anyone knows the exact formula to determine how much polyfill equals making the sub think its in .XXcuft more.

But i dont think its that much a diff, but who knows.

They didnt have the shredded kind? Thats a lil easier to work with, as u can just shove it in tight *wink*

Good Luck
