TC9 motor. Generally pretty musical, but can get loud. Ask Spooney or Av83 how they like theirs.

If you're into straight SPL I can use a different coil which is lighter, usually gets more peaky, but doesn't hold as much long term power. The "normal" coil I'm using models nice for 15" 4 cube , or 2.25 cube for 12" tuned low 30's.

Should be a little more musical, since I'm guessing IA uses a very stiff suspension and they probably have a bit more motor force which tends to get a peakier sub. Also I use Copper coil which lends itself a bit better to musical applications and has a slight edge on long term thermal power handling (don't expect miracles, but side by side Aluminum would fail a little before copper)

I don't know if IA publishes TS specs so hard to say for sure.

Thermal handling should be about the same.
