WTB: 13" - 15" Sub

A colleague at work has asked me to put together a small system for his 17-year-old. The son doesn't have anything at present. We're just gonna get him a single sub and small amp. I'll build the enclosure and do the install for him. The budget is small. I'm looking for a 13"-15" sub in good shape. The budget (unfortunately) is only $175 shipped. I'll get a small amp in a few weeks. It will likely put out maybe 1000 watts at 1 ohm and 500-600W at 2 ohms. So the sub will need a good response at these wattage numbers.

If you have something, drop me a PM or respond here. Not really looking for anything abused, exotic or custom. The kid will likely be attracted to the bigger names in the game. You know how kids are with brand name recognition.
