WTB:100wRMSx2@4ohm AMP or 200wRMSx1@4ohm AMP

Looking for a small amp to beat my old Advent 10s. They're rated 50wRMS-160wMAX so I'm tryin to put 100RMS of clean power to each of them at 4ohm. Looking for something round .05% THD or lower @ 4ohmload. Looking at the PowerBass ASA-400.2, some UltraLinear amps and some other similar amplifiers. Looking for something with a very simple, clean, even old school look to it. Might even go for 75wRMS if I liek the amp. budget is $100 to cover the amp and shipping. DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PRETTY! This is just a little temporary beater system. It wont be too loud but it will def sound clean

Under-rated OS amps and Over-rated crap amps are also considered!!! Just as long as the SQ is shweeet

that sony looks pretty shweet! How much would u let it go for if u can find the harness or u solder ur own? I love the simplicity of the design, EXACTLY what I'm lookin for as far as aesthetics and I'm sure that thing wud make my 10s move. I put a lot less power to a pair in a sealed box and the knocked pretty good

I would love to sell you the Hifonics, but I may end up trading it with someone else. For its size, it is a powerhouse.
The Alpine, on the far left, is probably less power than you are looking for. It has a 15a fuse, so I would expect 150-200wrms.

If you agree with that power range, than I also have a Sony XM-3021 (good, old Sony). It has a 15a fuse as well, and like the Alphasonik, I would imagine it is conservatively rated at 30Wx2. It is .04% THD too...I have not tested it yet though, the only reason being that I don't have the wiring harness. I am on the search though...maybe even a wiring diagram would work, so I could solder in wires.

If you want bigger power, I have an old *** Sherwood amp from the early 80's. It main selling point was its durability, and it shows. It is a mess cosmetically, and when I took off the bottom plate, it looked like an absolute mess. I cleaned it up and hooked it up, and to my great surprise, it worked perfectly. It's probably not a sound quality amp, but I have heard that it is decent as far as most Sherwood stuff goes. I hooked it up with a 12v battery charger at home, and it seriously made my 18 APX move...although I'm sure that's more power than you need. Let me know if you're interested

I have an old school Rockford 100ix.. it's a 2 channel, rated @ 50wrms per channel @ 4 ohms 0.05% THD @ 12.6 volts.. actually does around 105wrms per channel @ 14 volts. It's in really good condition too.. 100 shipped and it's yours. PM if interested.

Idk, lots of kool amps here! Theres a dude sellin a Crossfire amp on here for $70 shipped... probably leaning towards that since my stepbro had one and I've seen what it does! His dumba$$ actually slapped 2 Kicker comps on it for a few months
