hey check out power acoustik's PA1000db it does 1000rmsx1@1ohm 800rms x 1 @2 ohm its only $170 on sonicelectronics. and i believe the model above it is the A1800DB and it does 1300rms x 1 @ 1 ohm i think its under 200 too

well i figured maybe he didnt know. and because i bet you that garbage as amp will do pretty much just as well as a jl1000/1 while saving you $400. so therefore anyone who isnt a complete dumbass rich boy should spend less money for a very similar product. it only makes sense to people with common sense im sorry.

ok i think its going a bit far by calling them "very similar products." a 1000/1 and a PA are at way different ends of the food chain....not just in price, but in quality, parts used, features, etc. Regardless....if you need 1000 watts, then you need 1000 watts so do whatever floats your boat. But frankly, the JL would obviously do a better job than the PA.

sorry guys i wont be needing an amp right now. i was expecting 2 12w6v2's in a trade but the guy ripped me off.

P.S.- if anyone lives near kansas city, MO and wants to steal back my amp and/or curb someone i will send you $100.
