Yahh, gonna set him up with single 12" then when get gets more money add a 2nd 12" so going to find a amp big enough to run the pair. Start off running the amp at 2 ohms, then add the 2nd it'll be 1 ohm.

With imp rise you should be fine, I ran one for a year at 1ohm never had any issues.

yea or u just run it at 800rms at 4ohm will be easy on his electrical also the susba re only 300rms a piece

But true, after imp rise...and true on 800 rms @ 4 ohms.

I had gotten a ap10001 for a customer. He loves also scored it for $140, if u look thats what they usually sell for. And 1 ohm stable.
