WTB: 1000 Watt Mono Amplifier

what subs do you have and what voice coil configuration are they? and then how do you have them wired. that will tell ya what ohm load you'll be puttin on the amp.
I have dual Pioneer TS-W308D4

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Subwoofers/Champion/TS-W308D2|D4?tab=B

Watts MAX. Music Power 1400 Watts

Watts Nominal Power Handling 400 Watts

Frequency Response 20 ~ 180Hz

Sensitivity D2 (90dB) D4 (92dB)

Ohm Rating D2: (1 or 4 ohm) D4: (2 or 8 ohm)

So I am guessing.. I will be using a 2 or 8 ohm?

I haven't wired them up on the box yet, I am letting my friend do this..

You will need to make your power at 1ohm or 4ohm. They are dual 4 ohm voice coils. Wire all 4 in parallel to make 1ohm (all positive to positive, negative to negative). Wire each sub in series (positive from one coil to negative to the other), then wire both subs in parallel to make a 4ohm load. It'll be easier/cheaper to get your power at 1ohm most likely.
