I have an RE MX 12, they are dual 2's and have a 4" voice coil, they can take gobs of power.

I have a Sonic FX Q 12" It is the same driver as Incriminator Audio Death Penalty's. I ran mine at 1 ohm off an IA 20.1 so it was seeing in the area of 2k RMS. With proper gain control it should be able to handle your sundown. Sub is D2 so lowest you can run is 1 ohm.
