WTB: 1,000 to 1,500 watt Class D amplifier

Wow, I just realized that the new JL Audio w3v3 series had single voice coils. If you are going to run a pair of 2 ohm subs, why not look for a cheap 1,000 to 1,500 watt Class D amplifier for a 1 ohm load? Also, I think those 12s would laugh at 500 watts RMS split between the two of them.

$100 to $200...to $300 range. I need ideas. I am interested in a purchase also

I have a MMATS D300HC (same as a 1400.2) for 275 shipped.

1400 at 2 ohms. Small board mod puts it at 1745 RMS @ 2.

I have a ppi pcx-1500? this amp is a beast and is very hi end. It is only rated a 500x1rms@4oms and 1000 x 1 rms @2oms, but is very underated and will give you a good sound quailty. I will do $200 shipped on this beast.pm me if interested. thanks

with the woofers you are using, you need to look at amps with 2 ohm mono power. unless you plan to run 4 woofers to obtain a 1 ohm load.
