I hate hearing about stuff like there, totally innocent people getting taken out but inconsiderate pricks. ha, in this case not ejecting would have killed me. that car flipped 5x at around 45-55mph from what the police said. They weren't there to see it, so how the fck do they know?

I had 1 broken toe, a deep cut on my finger (to the bone, meat dangling) and some cuts/scrapes. i walked away but i remember absolutely nothing at all. Had i been in the car, i would have been pierced thru the chest by that fence post. whew!

that blows, and as you said it is usually how it happens, many of the reasons I couldn't be a first responder or any of the public service positions. If I showed up to a scene like that as a medic or anyone I would probably end up shooting the guy or delaying care, thus I am in engineering lol.

Sometimes referred to as a ramp truck, refer to picture above. Not to be confused with a Roll-off truck (dumpster truck.) Wrecker would be the standard tow away truck with the boom and sling, or a wheel lift.

Only after hitting a rock bank and then a tree stump

Overall it held up pretty good.

Still drove 6 miles in the snow with broken suspension, wheels in different directions

As a former tow truck operator, i can sayt ive never heard the term "rollback" - at my job we referred to them as "Flatbed" vs. "wheel lift"

that is a tow truck, my friend. But there are different types of tow trucks.

PS i had an MP3 deck in my tow truck... the previous driver had two twelves under the seat! He removed them when he quit, but left all the wiring... sadly ebough, i never hooked anything up!

Then nobody would know which one they were talking about. A rollback has a winch that pulls the vehicle up onto it in case it won't roll.
