wow this is gay!

Vanilla Ice..... tell me if you are in your mid 30s that you didnt think Vanilla Ica with his Ice Ice Baby wasnt bumpin a.. tune.

That song plays at a club and the floor fills still to this day, same with a little MC hammer.

Good times........ even though I like 80s hair metal, that stuff was bumpin. How bout a little Baby got Back to bring the beats to those subs:)

Let's see what we have here...young dudes rollin' in a droptop, thumping bass and it's all fun times. Now if they didn't like music, cars and car audio, now that would be bad as in not very good...LOL!
When it was my young party times, the car audio was 8-track and a bit of cassette, all low power and low fidelity. We made up for it with our home stereo gear like big heavy Pioneer and Sansui stuff, going into huge wooden speakers that weighed a ton. We made plenty of noise too! Good cars were cheap and so was gas, so that was good too. Instead of rap we had rock and some of those acts are still popular today (Alice Cooper, Ozzy, The Who, The Stones) but we got those guys when they were the new fresh thing out there. Good times indeed.

So it's sad when I see the young rip on the young for having fun. What are you going to be like when you're my age and the kids of the future, say around the year 2035, are having their version of good times? What kind of hater will you be then?

Not only do girls just gotta have fun but so do the boys. You only get to be young once. Enjoy the hell out of it! Then when the next gen comes along, let them have their fun too. Who wants to be a herbert? That's a Star Trek original series reference in case you are curious. Watch the episode it's in to learn about the generation gap we faced as expressed in what was a popular TV show of the era and then think about how it can all come back even worse if we don't learn to at least tolerate differences if we can't embrace them.

Be cool.

Rick
It's not that he's having fun.

It's that he thinks hes cool or what he has done is worth showing other people.

He needs to be ridiculed so he learns the error of his ways.

I think Rick is right on this one. I don't see a problem with this video. The kid is young and to me the video was very well put together. I couldn't understand a word he was saying, but then again, I don't have a very clear audio system on my TV yet. I don't think his car is bad as it could be far worse. The problem is, that everyone is so spoiled with seeing expensive cars in every video. Remember that when you were his age, any car that you drove was the absolute best, no matter how crappy it may have looked to others. As for his system? I think he has done very well considering his age. You can't expect everyone to have the best audio gear, however those MTX 4500s and box are still pretty expensive at CCity. As long as it sounds good to him thats all that matters. I'm sure his tastes will mature as he does. I don't think he'll make it as a rapper, but he does seem to have a talent for video editing. I see a bright future for him.

Rick sounds like he might smoke a lot of bud. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif It's not my flavor of music, or video for that matter, but I guess he is having fun. I just hope his intention wasn't to put it on YouTube and have people take him seriously... Bump in Tha Trunk? Come on man...

Back in the day I used to smoke bud, ditchweed or whatever else was around. Lids (as a bag of weed was called) were $10 for five fingers of low-grade stuff back when I was in high school over 35 years ago and WE LIKED IT...LOL!

The best time in our town was when a multi-million dollar Thai stick smuggling operation was busted up between Bandon and Port Orford in the 80's. The guys had a small sea-going freighter called the Cigale that brought the stuff in from southeast Asia, DUKWs (military amphibious vehicles) to offload the weed from the ship to the beach, a house full of scanners to monitor the cops and they did everything right except for one little thing...they ticked off the neighbors when they denied them from their beach fishing. That got the neighbors to looking and a whole syndicate of guys from SoCal went down to the Coast Guard, DEA and local law enforcement. For as many millions as were invested in the operation, they should have bought ALL the properties to keep away prying eyes.

During the bust, a bunch of Thai stick in containers got spilled and washed up on the beaches later on, so if you were lucky enough to score that you were golden. This town was awash in the stuff and it was like right out of a movie.

Yours truly wasn't one of the lucky ones though:crap:

Rick
