Let's see what we have here...young dudes rollin' in a droptop, thumping bass and it's all fun times. Now if they didn't like music, cars and car audio, now that would be bad as in not very good...LOL!
When it was my young party times, the car audio was 8-track and a bit of cassette, all low power and low fidelity. We made up for it with our home stereo gear like big heavy Pioneer and Sansui stuff, going into huge wooden speakers that weighed a ton. We made plenty of noise too! Good cars were cheap and so was gas, so that was good too. Instead of rap we had rock and some of those acts are still popular today (Alice Cooper, Ozzy, The Who, The Stones) but we got those guys when they were the new fresh thing out there. Good times indeed.
So it's sad when I see the young rip on the young for having fun. What are you going to be like when you're my age and the kids of the future, say around the year 2035, are having their version of good times? What kind of hater will you be then?
Not only do girls just gotta have fun but so do the boys. You only get to be young once. Enjoy the hell out of it! Then when the next gen comes along, let them have their fun too. Who wants to be a herbert? That's a Star Trek original series reference in case you are curious. Watch the episode it's in to learn about the generation gap we faced as expressed in what was a popular TV show of the era and then think about how it can all come back even worse if we don't learn to at least tolerate differences if we can't embrace them.
Be cool.
