Wow you guys are a bunch of panzies. Putting them down is very expensive, personally I think good pair of red wings to step on their heads and crush them would do the trick, it would be cheap (You could buy generic boots if you had to), quick and would not ruin any good fur.
I do it all the time with squirrels who get in my bird feeders.

injections are too expensive and take too long to have a vet come out and do it (at least here in the u.s.) I watched a special on TLC or something like that about unfair pig farms (in ohio) and that was the verdict. They were throwing the piglets into an abandoned school bus or just slamming their heads on a metal table to kill them. Then the bigger hogs that were dying were hung by a bull dozer thing. That was deemed ok because the hog was killed "instantly" and any kicking or squirming you saw on the video was just his/her nerves after they died. It makes me sick to see stuff like this happen. Im a firm believer in that any cruel/sick crime you do, your punishment is having that same act done towards you.
